Le tag est une activité complexe, contradictoire et souvent solitaire. Certains y voient juste un combat d’égo, moi j’y vois un phénomène urbain impressionnant. Cela existe sous cette forme depuis bientôt 40 ans cher William le Troll et sur les 20 dernières années le tag s’est diffusé sur TOUTE la planète et à travers TOUTES les cultures. Il a même donné naissance à un courant artistique et graphique moderne et réellement populaire. Dans le sens où tout le monde peut s’y mettre et il y a des centaines de millions de personnes qui le font juste pour le plaisir de peindre et dessiner sans rien demander à personne. C’est un fait incontestable, phénomène social qui passe par Sarajevo, Rio, Captown…etc…etc
Moi le plaisir que j’en retire le plus c’est cette inventivité graphique qui fait que tes initiales deviennent une oeuvre à part entière, nous ne somme peut être que des numéros ou des codes barres ambulants (le mien c’est EMC 1479), mais il y en a qui tapent plus que d’autre : Babou en est un bon exemple… |
