HEllo je vous présente une nouvelle web radio sous forme de podcast RADIO COLIB. Qui a pour but de promouvoir des artistes, producteurs etc... du monde entier qui taffe le bon son dans leur coin pour beaucoup et à un niveau plus ou moins connus pour d'autres ( kev brown, black milk, waajeed, Ge-Ology, Flying lotus etc...). le but étant de vous faire écouter autre choses, découvrir des sons que les autres médias ne diffusent pas forcément à grande échel.. Jusqu'en octobre ça sera des mix de 40 min environ mais ensuite ça sera une émission hosté et tout mais surtout du son. Très peu de place au blabla

Hey! New mix pour cette semaine. Avec pour commencer un son d’un artiste que j’apprecie beaucoup, Jose James, sur une prod de MITSU THE BEATS, un Dj japonais qui est très loin dans le délire. Une merveille !!! Ensuite com d’hab de la soul, de l’afro beat aussi et du hip hop. Une spéciale mention au son issu de la BO du manga Afro Samurai (à voir), le son c’est "OH" de Stone Mecca, Rza à la prod (de toute la BO).

New tunes pour cette semaine, avec des sons des antilles (ERIK - "Elisa"), des son d'un gars d'europe de l'est, CADIK... Attention il va très vite, il y a pas mal de pointures de l'underground dans son album. J'ai aussi tenu à vous play de l'afro beat avec " Asiko" de TONY ALLEN qui a été samplé par Jay Dee sur un album de Common (Heat - album "like water for chocolate"... Jay dee va très loin quand on y pense)... Et un son d'un artiste SIJI du nigéria à se procurer vite.

So much to say about this episode, Well this is with a lot of humility that we present this Jazz oriented mix ..

With a lot of artists that we love, such as DJ mitsu, Jose James for the wonderful “night in Tunisia” by Toshio matsuura, or Wally Oyejide on a crazy stuff from his Broken Jazz 101 album.

But also new comers in my library like the well known Esperanza Spalding.

U can also check 2 french tunes, on from a new producer, Tum’Soul with Leslie Phillips (Track N°10) and one from Hanna’M..

Bcp de choses à dire sur cet épisode. C’est donc  modestement qu’on vous présente un mix Jazzy avec plusieurs artistes que l’on apprécie beaucoup, comme DJ mitsu, Jose James qui nous interprète un magnifique « Night in Tunisia » revisité par Toshio Matsuura, ou encore Walé Oyedeji
 sur un bad son de son album Broken Jazz 101.

Parmi les nouveaux arrivant dans ma biblioMP3 il y a Esperanza Spalding qu’on ne présente plus.

Cet épisode est entièrement dédié à un artiste qu’on kiffe particulièrement, il s’agit d’ODDISEE pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, il est à découvrir d’urgence urgente. Il fait parti du crew Low Budget, avec Kenn starr, Kev Brown, Kaimbr, Cy Young …Il est dans plusieurs projets dont Diamond District (un groupe avec XO et YU) et leur premier album Diamond in the ruff, autant vous dire c’est un des best album hip hop qu’on ai pu écouter ……du hip hop comme on aime. Il fait des beats, il rap et franchement ça nous donne envie de dire Hip hop is cool again

This episode is a special ODDISEE, an artist that we really, I mean really enjoy and respect for his versatility ans his musicality. He is an activ member of the Low Budget crew, and (among other projects like Ave.to) he is also in a group called Diamond District (With XO et YU) which give us one of the best hip hop album (Diamond in the ruff) we ever heard, for real..
